The Milton Eagles (Milton, GA) basketball edged the visiting Johns Creek Gladiators (Johns Creek, GA), 63-56 in Friday's league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 16-6 record. They play next when they host Whitney Young for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 1. Milton will play a Dolphins team coming off a 52-49 league win over Curie (Chicago, IL). The Dolphins record now stands at 14-9.
With the loss, Johns Creek falls to 13-9 on the campaign. The Gladiators host Seckinger (Buford, GA) to play the Jaguars in a AAAAA Region 7 bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 13-10. Seckinger lost 79-72 in their recent league bout against Roswell (Roswell, GA)
