Virginia High School Basketball - West Springfield nudges Lake Braddock

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA) and the visiting Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA), observed West Springfield's basketball team edge Lake Braddock by a score of 53-51.

The Spartans (7-11) will now prepare for their challenge against South County (Lorton, VA). The Stallions come into the District 4 challenge with a 11-6 record. In their last challenge, South County edged Fairfax (Fairfax, VA), 70-49, in a league challenge.
