Ohio High School Basketball - Lake Center Christian knocks off Rootstown

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Lake Center Christian Tiger basketball team scored a good 37-27 win over the Rootstown Rovers.

The Tiger (13-4) will now prepare for their contest against Manchester (Akron, OH). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 11-6 record. In their last contest, Manchester defeated Field (Mogadore, OH), 56-54, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Rovers battle the John F. Kennedy Catholic Eagles (Warren, OH) in a Portage Trail contest, on Saturday, February 1. Rootstown will attempt to better on its 4-14 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 9-5 record after their 65-53 non-league loss to Canton Central Catholic (Canton, OH).
