The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Legacy Leopards (Wichita Falls, TX) and the host Memorial Mavericks (Wichita Falls, TX), observed Legacy's basketball team overcome Memorial by a margin of 44-33.

The Leopards (17-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Cooper (Abilene, TX). The Cougars come into the 5A Region I District 4 challenge with a 8-15 record. In their last challenge, Cooper dropped by Memorial (Wichita Falls, TX), 43-37, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mavericks battle the Wylie Bulldogs (Abilene, TX) in a 5A Region I District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Memorial will attempt to better on its 12-18 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 15-10 record after their 52-49 league win over Abilene (Abilene, TX).
