The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) and the visiting Stagg Chargers (Palos Hills, IL), observed Lockport's basketball team overwhelm Stagg by a score of 71-33.

The Porters (15-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Joliet Central (Joliet, IL). The Steelmen come into the non-league challenge with a 2-19 record. In their last challenge, Joliet Central was routed by Joliet West (Joliet, IL), 64-25, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Chargers battle the St. Patrick Shamrocks (Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, February 2. Stagg will attempt to improve on its 0-22 season record. The Shamrocks come into the challenge with a 16-7 record after their 61-43 non-league loss to Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL).
