Texas High School Basketball - London fells Taft

The London Pirates basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host Taft Greyhounds to 40 in the Pirates league triumph on Friday.

The Pirates now have a 26-5 record. They play next when they host Odem for a 3A Region IV District 29 game on Tuesday, February 4. London will confront a Owls team coming off a 61-46 league loss to Taft (Taft, TX). The Owls record now stands at 6-12.

With the loss, Taft falls to 17-13 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to West Oso (Corpus Christi, TX) to confront the Bears in a 3A Region IV District 29 game on Tuesday, February 4. The Bears go into the game with a record of 20-12. West Oso lost 51-44 in their recent league game against George West (George West, TX)
