Osakis Silverstreaks (Osakis, MN) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Thunder (Long Prairie, MN), 74-46 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Osakis upgrades its record to 10-4 on the year. The Silverstreaks travel to Holdingford (Holdingford, MN) to face the Huskers in a AA Section 6 match on Tuesday, February 4. The Huskers enter the match with a record of 16-2.
The Thunder now sport a 1-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Breckenridge for a non-league match on Monday, February 3. Long Prairie-Grey Eagle will face a Cowboys squad coming off a 70-66 league win over Frazee (Frazee, MN). The Cowboys record now stands at 9-10.
