The Lord Botetourt Cavaliers nipped the host William Byrd Terriers basketball squad by a final score of 65-59 in Friday's league outing.
Next, the Cavaliers clash with the North Cross Raiders (Roanoke, VA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, February 1. Lord Botetourt will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Raiders enter the outing with a 14-4 record after their 62-55 league loss to Roanoke Catholic (Roanoke, VA).
The Terriers (9-10) will now prepare for their outing against Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA). The Eagles enter the Blue Ridge outing with a 4-13 record. In their last outing, Franklin County was nipped by Staunton River (Moneta, VA), 54-40, in a league outing.
