The Malakoff Tigers basketball team scored 46 points and limited the host Winona Wildcats to 40 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Eustace for a 3A Region II District 15 game on Tuesday, February 4. Malakoff will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 44-31 league win over Quitman (Quitman, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-18.

With the loss, Winona falls to 7-17 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Eustace (Eustace, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a 3A Region II District 15 game on Friday, February 7. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 6-18.
