The Marlington Dukes basketball team scored 70 points and limited the host Salem Quakers to 37 in the Dukes league triumph on Friday.

The Dukes now possess a 11-7 record. They play next when they host Tuscarawas Valley for a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. Marlington will confront a Trojans team coming off a 59-34 league loss to Hiland (Berlin, OH). The Trojans record now stands at 4-12.

With the loss, Salem falls to 5-13 on the campaign. The Quakers host Beaver Local (Lisbon, OH) to confront the Beavers in a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. The Beavers go into the game with a record of 12-4. Beaver Local won 50-48 in their recent non-league game against Minerva (Minerva, OH)
