In Friday's non-league contest, the host Omaha Nation Chiefs basketball team scored a good 65-56 win over the Marty Indian Braves.
The Chiefs (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against Lower Brule (Lower Brule, SD). The Sioux come into the non-league contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Lower Brule defeated Crazy Horse (Wanblee, SD), 72-36, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Braves battle the Crazy Horse Chiefs (Wanblee, SD) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 1. Marty Indian will attempt to better on its 7-7 season record. The Chiefs come into the contest with a 8-5 record after their 50-41 non-league win over Wakpala (Wakpala, SD).
