The Middletown North Lions basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Matawan Regional Huskies to 48 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now have a 13-6 record. They play next when they travel to Henry Hudson for a non-league game on Monday, February 3. Middletown North will confront a Admirals team coming off a 45-38 non-league win over Raritan (Hazlet, NJ). The Admirals record now stands at 14-5.

With the loss, Matawan Regional falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Keansburg (Keansburg, NJ) to confront the Titans in a non-league game on Monday, February 3. The Titans go into the game with a record of 5-11. Keansburg lost 60-56 in their recent league game against Keyport (Keyport, NJ)
