Georgia High School Basketball - Stockbridge succumbs to McDonough

January 31, 2025: Stockbridge, GA 30281

In Friday's league test, the McDonough Warhawks (McDonough, GA) basketball squad defeated the host Stockbridge Tigers (Stockbridge, GA), by a score of 62-49.

Next, the Warhawks clash with the Jones County Greyhounds (Gray, GA) in a AAAA Region 2 test, on Saturday, February 1. McDonough will attempt to improve on its 18-4 season record. The Greyhounds come into the test with a 5-15 record after their 58-52 league win over Ola (McDonough, GA).

The Tigers (7-15) will now prepare for their test against Ola (McDonough, GA). The Mustangs come into the AAAA Region 2 test with a 7-16 record. In their last test, Ola went down by Union Grove (McDonough, GA), 74-64, in a league test.
