Georgia High School Basketball - South Cobb sneaks past McEachern

January 31, 2025: Austell, GA 30106

The South Cobb Eagles (Austell, GA) basketball edged the visiting McEachern Indians (Powder Springs, GA), 64-63 in Friday's league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 14-9 record. They play next when they travel to Hillgrove for a AAAAAA Region 3 bout on Tuesday, February 4. South Cobb will play a Hawks team coming off a 66-61 league win over Paulding County (Dallas, GA). The Hawks record now stands at 17-6.

With the loss, McEachern falls to 19-4 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Osborne (Marietta, GA) to play the Cardinals in a AAAAAA Region 3 bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 3-19. Osborne lost 69-57 in their recent league bout against Harrison (Kennesaw, GA)
