Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Midd-West overwhelmed by Shamokin Area

In Friday's league test, the Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA) basketball squad trounced the host Midd-West Mustangs (Middleburg, PA), by a score of 84-41.

Next, the Indians encounter the Selinsgrove Seals (Selinsgrove, PA) in a Heartland I test, on Monday, February 3. Shamokin Area will attempt to improve on its 18-2 season record. The Seals come into the test with a 9-9 record after their 72-60 league win over Central Mountain (Mill Hall, PA).

The Mustangs (2-15) will now prepare for their test against Jersey Shore (Jersey Shore, PA). The Bulldogs come into the Heartland I test with a 10-7 record. In their last test, Jersey Shore bounced Shikellamy (Sunbury, PA), 75-66, in a league test.
