In Friday's league test, the Mott Corsairs (Waterford, MI) basketball squad got by the visiting Milford Mavericks (Highland, MI), by a score of 50-47.

Next, the Corsairs encounter the Lakeland Eagles (White Lake, MI) in a Lakes Valley test, on Tuesday, February 4. Mott will attempt to improve on its 16-1 season record.

The Mavericks (11-3) will now prepare for their test against South Lyon East (South Lyon, MI). The Cougars come into the Lakes Valley test with a 10-7 record. In their last test, South Lyon East held off Seaholm (Birmingham, MI), 50-42, in a non-league test.
