The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Mohave Accelerated Patriots (Bullhead City, AZ) and the host Mountainside Wolves (Wittmann, AZ), observed Mohave Accelerated's basketball team overwhelm Mountainside by a score of 79-21.
The Patriots (16-10) will now prepare for their challenge against St. John Paul II Catholic (Avondale, AZ). The Lions come into the 2A West challenge with a 5-16 record.
In their next game, the Wolves encounter the Trivium Prep Crimson Knights (Goodyear, AZ) in a 2A West challenge, on Monday, February 3. Mountainside will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record. The Crimson Knights come into the challenge with a 3-16 record after their 70-42 league loss to Kingman Academy (Kingman, AZ).
