The Pendleton County Wildcat basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host Moorefield Yellow Jackets to 42 in the Wildcat league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcat now possess a 8-7 record. They play next when they host Notre Dame for a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. Pendleton County will confront a Fighting Irish team coming off a 66-57 league loss to Parkersburg Catholic (Parkersburg, WV). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Moorefield falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets host Pocahontas County (Dunmore, WV) to confront the Warriors in a Potomac Valley A game on Tuesday, February 4. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 2-10. Pocahontas County lost 62-48 in their recent non-league game against Greenbrier West (Charmco, WV)
