Texas High School Basketball - Slocum routs Mount Calm

In Friday's league contest, the host Slocum Mustangs basketball team scored a big 62-41 win over the Mount Calm .

The Mustangs (18-11) will now prepare for their contest against Penelope (Penelope, TX). The Wolverines come into the 1A Region III District 24 contest with a 3-18 record. In their last contest, Penelope smashed Oakwood (Oakwood, TX), 46-43, in a league contest.

In their next game, the battle the Coolidge Yellowjackets (Coolidge, TX) in a 1A Region III District 24 contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Mount Calm will attempt to better on its 10-10 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the contest with a 17-6 record after their 58-49 league win over Slocum (Elkhart, TX).
