The Mountain Lake/Comfrey basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Murray County Central Rebels to 65 in the non-league triumph on Friday.

The now have a 3-15 record. They play next when they travel to St. Mary's for a non-league game on Monday, February 3. Mountain Lake/Comfrey will confront a Knights team coming off a 67-55 non-league loss to Central Minnesota Christian (Prinsburg, MN). The Knights record now stands at 9-11.

With the loss, Murray County Central falls to 12-8 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Hills-Beaver Creek (Hills, MN) to confront the Patriots in a A Section 3 game on Tuesday, February 4. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 17-2. Hills-Beaver Creek won 87-53 in their recent league game against Red Rock Central (Lamberton, MN)
