The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Tascosa Rebels (Amarillo, TX) and the visiting Palo Duro Dons (Amarillo, TX), observed Tascosa's basketball team overcome Palo Duro by a margin of 58-45.

The Rebels (18-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Coronado (Lubbock, TX). The Mustangs come into the 5A Region I District 3 challenge with a 11-17 record. In their last challenge, Coronado beat Lubbock (Lubbock, TX), 68-48, in a league test.

The Dons (25-4) will now prepare for their test against Monterey (Lubbock, TX). The Plainsmen come into the 5A Region I District 3 test with a 14-17 record. In their last test, Monterey went down by Lubbock-Cooper (Lubbock, TX), 63-56, in a league test.
