The Presbyterian Christian Bobcats basketball team scored 48 points and limited the visiting St. Joseph Catholic Bruins to 43 in the Bobcats league triumph on Friday.

The Bobcats now have a 17-11 record. They play next when they travel to Jackson Prep for a MAIS 6A District 1 game on Tuesday, February 4. Presbyterian Christian will confront a Patriots team coming off a 61-25 league win over Hartfield Academy (Flowood, MS). The Patriots record now stands at 21-5.

With the loss, St. Joseph Catholic falls to 22-7 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Jackson Academy (Jackson, MS) to confront the Raiders in a MAIS 6A District 1 game on Tuesday, February 4. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 18-4. Jackson Academy won 59-52 in their recent league game against Madison-Ridgeland Academy (Madison, MS)
