Nevada High School Basketball - Smith Valley triumphant over Sage Ridge

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Smith Valley Bulldogs (Smith, NV) and the host Sage Ridge Scorpions (Reno, NV), observed Smith Valley's basketball team overwhelm Sage Ridge by a margin of 72-39.

The Bulldogs (19-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Virginia City (Virginia City, NV). The Muckers come into the 1A West challenge with a 16-1 record. In their last challenge, Virginia City trounced Sage Ridge (Reno, NV), 64-33, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Scorpions battle the Pyramid Lake Lakers (Nixon, NV) in a 1A West challenge, on Saturday, February 1. Sage Ridge will attempt to better on its 7-9 season record. The Lakers come into the challenge with a 14-8 record after their 85-47 league win over Excel Christian (Sparks, NV).
