The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the West Lyon Wildcats (Inwood, IA) and the visiting Sioux Center Warriors (Sioux Center, IA), observed West Lyon's basketball team overwhelm Sioux Center by a score of 70-47.

The Wildcats (15-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Sibley-Ocheyedan (Sibley, IA). The Generals come into the Siouxland challenge with a 1-17 record. In their last challenge, Sibley-Ocheyedan was routed by Central Lyon (Rock Rapids, IA), 55-41, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors encounter the Boyden-Hull Comets (Hull, IA) in a Siouxland challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Sioux Center will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 76-60 league win over Okoboji (Milford, IA).
