In Friday's non-league contest, the host South Christian Sailors basketball team scored a big 72-49 triumph over the Wyoming Wolves.

The Sailors (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against Thornapple Kellogg (Middleville, MI). The Trojans go into the Ottawa-Kent - Gold contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, Thornapple Kellogg was trounced by Forest Hills Northern (Grand Rapids, MI), 55-52, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Wolves confront the Northview Wildcats (Grand Rapids, MI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Wyoming will attempt to better on its 9-8 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 13-4 record after their 49-48 non-league loss to St. Mary's Prep (Orchard Lake, MI).
