The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the West Marshall Trojans (State Center, IA) and the host South Hamilton Hawks (Jewell, IA), observed West Marshall's basketball team overwhelm South Hamilton by a score of 76-29.

The Trojans (10-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Roland-Story (Story City, IA). The Norsemen come into the Heart of Iowa - Large challenge with a 5-13 record. In their last challenge, Roland-Story trounced Greene County (Jefferson, IA), 55-22, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Hawks encounter the Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs (Monroe, IA) in a Heart of Iowa - Large challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. South Hamilton will attempt to improve on its 0-20 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 55-36 league loss to Nevada (Nevada, IA).
