In Friday's league test, the Southern Aroostook Warriors (Dyer Brook, ME) basketball squad trounced the visiting Wisdom Pioneers (St. Agatha, ME), by a score of 70-38.
Next, the Warriors encounter the Katahdin Cougars (Sherman Station, ME) in a D North test, on Tuesday, February 4. Southern Aroostook will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 14-3 record after their 89-17 league win over Ashland (Ashland, ME).
The Pioneers (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Fort Kent (Fort Kent, ME). The Warriors come into the non-league test with a 8-9 record. In their last test, Fort Kent was routed by Fort Fairfield (Fort Fairfield, ME), 58-44, in a league test.
