The West Florence Knights basketball squad (Florence, SC), was crushed 64-19 in Friday's league battle with the host Sumter Gamecocks (Sumter, SC)
With the victory, Sumter advances its record to 11-10 on the year. The Gamecocks host Spring Valley (Columbia, SC) to meet the Vikings in a AAAAA Region 5 battle on Wednesday, February 5. The Vikings enter the battle with a record of 5-12.
The Knights now own a 1-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Blythewood for a AAAAA Region 5 battle on Tuesday, February 4. West Florence will meet a Bengals squad coming off a 50-34 league win over Lugoff-Elgin (Lugoff, SC). The Bengals record now stands at 18-3.
