Washington High School Basketball - Willapa Valley knocks off Taholah

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Willapa Valley Vikings (Menlo, WA) and the host Taholah Chitwhins (Taholah, WA), observed Willapa Valley's basketball team overcome Taholah by a score of 74-63.

The Vikings (15-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Wahkiakum (Cathlamet, WA). The Mules come into the non-league challenge with a 10-8 record. In their last challenge, Wahkiakum dropped by Columbia Adventist Academy (Battle Ground, WA), 68-64, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Chitwhins battle the Neah Bay Red Devils (Neah Bay, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 1. Taholah will attempt to improve on its 9-10 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 15-3 record after their 82-35 league win over Crescent (Joyce, WA).
