The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Academy of Richmond County Musketeers (Augusta, GA) and the host Howard Huskies (Macon, GA), observed Academy of Richmond County's basketball team knock off Howard by a score of 54-46.

The Musketeers (12-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Harlem (Harlem, GA). The Bulldogs come into the AAA Region 4 challenge with a 7-11 record. In their last challenge, Harlem dropped by Hephzibah (Hephzibah, GA), 43-38, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Huskies encounter the Baldwin Braves (Milledgeville, GA) in a AAA Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Howard will attempt to improve on its 9-10 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 16-6 record after their 49-34 non-league win over Washington County (Sandersville, GA).
