In Friday's league contest, the host Carsonville-Port Sanilac Tigers basketball team scored a big 71-34 triumph over the Akron-Fairgrove Vikings.
The Tigers (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against Kingston (Kingston, MI). The Cardinals enter the non-league battle with a 10-1 record. In their last battle, Kingston walloped Ubly (Ubly, MI), 42-38, in a non-league battle.
The Vikings now own a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to More Academy for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 6.
