Texas High School Basketball - Parkland trounced by Americas

The Parkland Matadors basketball squad (El Paso, TX), was crushed 77-10 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Americas Trail Blazers (El Paso, TX)

With the victory, Americas advances its record to 26-3 on the year. The Trail Blazers host Hanks (El Paso, TX) to meet the Knights in a 5A Region I District 2 battle on Tuesday, February 4. The Knights enter the battle with a record of 12-11. Hanks won 45-19 in their recent league battle against El Dorado (El Paso, TX)

The Matadors now own a 11-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bel Air for a 5A Region I District 2 battle on Tuesday, February 4. Parkland will meet a Highlanders squad coming off a 66-29 league win over Horizon (El Paso, TX). The Highlanders record now stands at 17-10.
