In Friday's league contest, the host Glass Hilltoppers basketball team scored a big 65-24 triumph over the Amherst County Lancers.
The Hilltoppers (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Brookville (Lynchburg, VA). The Bees go into the Seminole contest with a 2-14 record. In their last contest, Brookville was trounced by Liberty (Bedford, VA), 53-34, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Lancers battle the Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 3. Amherst County will attempt to better on its 7-9 season record. The Green Hornets go into the contest with a 13-3 record after their 76-45 league win over Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA).
