The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Fillmore Eagles (Fillmore, NY) and the visiting Andover Panthers (Andover, NY), observed Fillmore's basketball team overcome Andover by a margin of 37-28.

The Eagles (12-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Cuba-Rushford (Cuba, NY). The Rebels come into the Section 5 Allegany challenge with a 9-2 record. In their last challenge, Cuba-Rushford defeated Bolivar-Richburg (Bolivar, NY), 52-35, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Arkport Central Bluejays (Arkport, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 3. Andover will attempt to better on its 11-2 season record. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 71-39 non-league win over Canisteo-Greenwood (Canisteo, NY).
