In Friday's non-league contest, the host New London-Spicer Wildcats basketball team scored a close 53-47 triumph over the Annandale Cardinals.
The Wildcats (20-0) will now prepare for their contest against Dassel-Cokato (Cokato, MN). The Chargers go into the non-league contest with a 14-9 record. In their last contest, Dassel-Cokato nipped Litchfield (Litchfield, MN), 81-46, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Central Raiders (Norwood-Young America, MN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Annandale will attempt to better on its 14-5 season record. The Raiders go into the contest with a 14-6 record after their 69-66 non-league loss to Watertown-Mayer (Watertown, MN).
