The Apex Cougars basketball squad (Apex, NC), was outscored 53-41 in Friday's league battle with the host Panther Creek Catamounts (Cary, NC)

With the victory, Panther Creek advances its record to 11-6 on the year. The Catamounts host Green Hope (Cary, NC) to meet the Falcons in a 4A Southeast Wake battle on Tuesday, February 4. The Falcons enter the battle with a record of 13-6. Green Hope won 46-26 in their recent league battle against Cary (Cary, NC)

The Cougars now own a 2-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holly Springs for a 4A Southeast Wake battle on Monday, February 3. Apex will meet a Golden Hawks squad coming off a 69-54 league loss to Middle Creek (Apex, NC). The Golden Hawks record now stands at 5-13.
