Michigan High School Basketball - Vestaburg defeats Ashley

The Vestaburg Wolverines (Vestaburg, MI) basketball were winner over the visiting Ashley Bears (Ashley, MI), 60-41 in Friday's league bout.

The Wolverines now possess a 5-9 record. They play next when they host Lakeview for a non-league bout on Monday, February 3. Vestaburg will play a Wildcats team coming off a 45-37 league loss to Central Montcalm (Stanton, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-10.

With the loss, Ashley falls to 2-11 on the campaign. The Bears host Fulton (Middleton, MI) to play the Pirates in a Mid-State bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Fulton lost 35-29 in their recent league bout against Merrill (Merrill, MI)
