The Zephyr Bulldogs (Zephyr, TX) basketball crushed the host Brookesmith Mustangs (Brookesmith, TX), 50-11 in Friday's league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 12-7 record. They play next when they travel to May for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4. Zephyr will play a Tigers team coming off a 84-10 league win over Sidney (Sidney, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 19-8.
With the loss, Brookesmith falls to 14-10 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Richland Springs (Richland Springs, TX) to play the Coyotes in a 1A Region IV District 25 bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Coyotes go into the bout with a record of 4-10.
