Nebraska High School Basketball - Cross County routs Bruning-Davenport/Shickley

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Cross County Cougars basketball team scored a big 61-34 triumph over the Bruning-Davenport/Shickley Eagles.

The Cougars (17-2) will now prepare for their contest against Nebraska Lutheran (Waco, NE). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 9-5 record. In their last contest, Nebraska Lutheran smashed McCool Junction (McCool Junction, NE), 53-28, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles confront the Osceola Bulldogs (Osceola, NE) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Bruning-Davenport/Shickley will attempt to better on its 10-10 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 8-8 record after their 43-31 non-league win over Meridian (Daykin, NE).
