The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Carroll Tigers (Carroll, IA) and the visiting Winterset Huskies (Winterset, IA), observed Carroll's basketball team knock off Winterset by a score of 44-30.

The Tigers (13-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Bondurant-Farrar (Bondurant, IA). The Bluejays come into the Raccoon River challenge with a 6-11 record. In their last challenge, Bondurant-Farrar prevailed over Boone (Boone, IA), 45-28, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Huskies encounter the Harlan Cyclones (Harlan, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 3. Winterset will attempt to improve on its 7-11 season record. The Cyclones come into the challenge with a 15-3 record after their 73-36 league win over Creston (Creston, IA).
