The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Carson Senators (Carson City, NV) and the visiting Galena Grizzlies (Reno, NV), observed Carson's basketball team overcome Galena by a margin of 48-40.

The Senators (8-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV). The Miners come into the 4A Northern challenge with a 12-12 record. In their last challenge, Bishop Manogue dropped by Reno (Reno, NV), 46-36, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Grizzlies battle the Reed Raiders (Sparks, NV) in a 4A Northern challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Galena will attempt to better on its 8-16 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 19-3 record after their 61-45 league win over Carson (Carson City, NV).
