North Carolina High School Basketball - Carver triumphant over Cornerstone Charter

January 31, 2025: Greensboro, NC 27409

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Carver Yellowjackets (Winston-Salem, NC) and the host Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC), observed Carver's basketball team overwhelm Cornerstone Charter by a score of 55-14.

The Yellowjackets (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Piedmont Classical (Browns Summit, NC). The Bobcats come into the 1A Northwest Piedmont challenge with a 6-7 record.

In their next game, the Cardinals encounter the Phoenix Academy Firebirds (High Point, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Cornerstone Charter will attempt to improve on its 7-15 season record. The Firebirds come into the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 56-38 non-league win over Oak Ridge Military Academy (Oak Ridge, NC).
