The Central Montcalm Hornets basketball squad scored 45 points and held the host Lakeview Wildcats to 37 in the Hornets league victory on Friday.

With the victory, Central Montcalm advances its record to 6-7 on the year. The Hornets host Kent City (Kent City, MI) to face the Eagles in a Central State match on Wednesday, February 5. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 10-3.

The Wildcats now own a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vestaburg for a non-league match on Monday, February 3. Lakeview will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 60-41 league win over Ashley (Ashley, MI). The Wolverines record now stands at 5-9.
