The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Chesterfield Golden Rams (Chesterfield, SC) and the host Central Eagles (Pageland, SC), observed Chesterfield's basketball team overwhelm Central by a score of 57-20.
The Golden Rams (7-10) will now prepare for their challenge against York Prep (Rock Hill, SC). The Patriots come into the AA Region 4 challenge with a 0-12 record. In their last challenge, York Prep was routed by Andrew Jackson (Kershaw, SC), 95-16, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Cheraw Braves (Cheraw, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Central will attempt to improve on its 3-16 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 15-6 record after their 57-27 league win over North Central (Kershaw, SC).
