In Friday's league contest, the visiting River Falls Wildcats basketball team scored a good 47-31 triumph over the Chippewa Falls Cardinals.
The Wildcats (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Colfax (Colfax, WI). The Vikings go into the non-league contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Colfax lost by Elk Mound (Elk Mound, WI), 64-34, in a league battle.
The Cardinals now own a 1-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 4. Chippewa Falls will meet a Red Raiders squad coming off a 49-42 league loss to Wausau West (Wausau, WI). The Red Raiders record now stands at 5-11.
