The Pleasant Valley Spartans basketball team scored 79 points and limited the host Clinton River Kings to 32 in the Spartans league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now possess a 13-4 record. They play next when they travel to Muscatine for a Mississippi game on Tuesday, February 4.

With the loss, Clinton falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The River kings travel to Central Clinton (DeWitt, IA) to confront the Sabers in a Mississippi match on Tuesday, February 4. The Sabers enter the match with a record of 1-0.
