In Friday's league test, the Coahulla Creek Colts (Dalton, GA) basketball squad trounced the host North Murray Mountaineers (Chatsworth, GA), by a final score of 54-13.
Next, the Colts clash with the North Cobb Christian Eagles (Kennesaw, GA) in a AA Region 7 test, on Tuesday, February 4. Coahulla Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 14-8 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 9-11 record after their 63-53 league loss to Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe (Fort Oglethorpe, GA).
The Mountaineers (5-16) will now prepare for their test against Union County (Blairsville, GA). The Panthers come into the AA Region 7 test with a 13-10 record. In their last test, Union County was overwhelmed by Ringgold (Ringgold, GA), 58-41, in a league test.
