The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Wesleyan Christian Mustangs (Bartlesville, OK) and the host Copan Hornets (Copan, OK), observed Wesleyan Christian's basketball team overwhelm Copan by a score of 56-31.

The Mustangs (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Claremore Christian (Claremore, OK). The Warriors come into the Freelance challenge with a 9-8 record. In their last challenge, Claremore Christian was routed by Wright Christian (Tulsa, OK), 45-19, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Hornets encounter the Barnsdall Panthers (Barnsdall, OK) in a Northern Oklahoma challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Copan will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 9-11 record after their 27-23 non-league win over Bluejacket (Bluejacket, OK).
