The Stratford Spartans basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting Cypress Ridge Rams to 32 in the Spartans league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now have a 19-9 record. They play next when they travel to Memorial for a 6A Region III District 17 game on Tuesday, February 4. Stratford will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 51-48 league win over Jersey Village (Houston, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 21-14.

With the loss, Cypress Ridge falls to 8-22 on the campaign. The Rams host Cypress Falls (Houston, TX) to confront the Eagles in a 6A Region III District 17 game on Tuesday, February 4. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 25-5. Cypress Falls won 61-31 in their recent league game against Cy-Fair (Cypress, TX)
