In Friday's league contest, the host Dardanelle Sand Lizards basketball team scored a good 43-31 triumph over the Waldron Bulldogs.
The Sand Lizards (13-8) will now prepare for their contest against Ozark (Ozark, AR). The Hillbillies go into the 4A Region 4 contest with a 8-15 record. In their last contest, Ozark topped Clarksville (Clarksville, AR), 44-43, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Mena Bearcats (Mena, AR) in a 4A Region 4 contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Waldron will attempt to better on its 11-11 season record. The Bearcats go into the contest with a 3-15 record after their 53-40 league loss to Pottsville (Pottsville, AR).
